信陵君，魏之公子也，素与赵王善。及赵王为秦所围，信陵君乃请魏王，愿以魏之精兵，救赵于危难之际。魏王犹豫，恐秦兵报复。信陵君曰：“秦之围赵，非赵之罪，乃吾魏之过也。今赵王亲吾，吾不救之，则赵必亡。赵亡，秦必更强，吾魏亦危矣。”魏王听信陵君之言，遂发兵救赵。

信陵君率魏兵至赵，与赵王共谋破秦之策。信陵君曰：“秦兵虽强，然吾闻其将白起，暴虐无道，士卒离心。吾若能说秦将，使其反戈，则秦兵可破。”赵王曰：“善。”信陵君遂说秦将，果使其反戈，秦兵大败。

Now that the Emperor of Zhao is close to me, if I do not save him, Zhao will surely fall. If Zhao falls, Qin will become even stronger, and Wei will also be in danger.” The King of Wei, convinced by Xinling's words, decided to send troops to rescue Zhao.
